Get Started

From Online Banking

  1. Enroll in Pay a Person from your online banking page and allow 24 hours for activation.
  2. Add the person you want to pay as a payee, unless they're already one of your saved payees. You'll then create a keyword — this is required for your payee to authenticate the payment. Communicate the keyword to your payee in a secure setting, such as over the phone or in person.
  3. The payee will receive an email with instructions about where they can enter the keyword and their banking information to accept the payment.
  4. Once the payment is accepted, funds will be electronically transferred from your account to your payee — even if their account is with another bank.

From Mobile App

Note: You must first be enrolled in online banking and have enrolled in Pay a Person through online banking in order to access it on our mobile app.

  1. Ensure you've downloaded our mobile banking app, available in the App Store® and Google Play™.
  2. Launch the app and access Pay a Person by clicking the Pay a Person icon.
  3. Add a payee if not already existing. You'll then create a keyword — this is required for your payee to authenticate the payment. Communicate the keyword to your payee in a secure setting, such as over the phone or in person.
  4. The payee will receive an email with instructions about where they can enter the keyword and their banking information to accept the payment.
  5. Once the payment is accepted, funds will be electronically transferred from your account to your payee — even if their account is located outside of Evergreen Bank Group.

Initiated From External Financial Institution
You may deposit funds into or withdraw funds from your Evergreen Bank Group account by having an external bank (directly or through a third party) initiate an electronic fund transfer into or from your Evergreen Bank Group account. Transfers initiated externally are subject to the external bank's limits.

The Bank’s Funds Availability policy applies to checks deposited through mobile deposit. Funds from mobile deposits are generally made available no later than the second Business Day after the day of your deposit, but longer holds may apply.
