Evergreen Plant-A-Tree Event and Poster Contest

Evergreen Bank Group, Bur Oak Group Inc. and Brook Forest Elementary School have partnered in an effort to raise community awareness to GO GREEN! On May 1st, Evergreen Bank Group will be planting a Colorado Blue Spruce donated by Bur Oak Group, Inc. at Brook Forest Elementary School in Oak Brook, IL. In conjunction with the event, Evergreen Bank Group invited all students of Brook Forest Elementary School to participate in a Plant-A-Tree Poster Contest. The winner from each grade will receive a $100 savings bond and the overall winner will receive a $250 savings bond, compliments of Evergreen Bank Group. The students were to create a poster that shows how Going Green is important. We are proud to display the following winners:

Evergreen Bank Group has decided to Go Green!

We are proud to announce that Evergreen Bank Group has decided to GO GREEN! The 'Going Green' Committee has been formed and the following efforts are underway to contribute to the fight against global warming:

• Using office supplies made of recycled materials
• Reducing daily paper consumption
• Paper, plastic, and glass recycling program in the branches
• Offering eStatements to our customers to replace paper statements
• Sponsoring a Plant-A-Tree Event with Butler School District 53
• Sponsoring Go Green poster contests with local school districts to raise children's awareness of global warming and how they can help save the planet.
