Oak Brook Park District's Pink 5K

May 2013

May 11th marked a great success for Oak Brook Park District's 3rd annual Pink 5k. Records were set! This year saw the largest number of participants registered at over 1100, up from the near 500 participants the prior year. Cold weather didn't stop the crowds or the donations, either. Oak Brook Park District was able to present a check in the amount of $10,000 to Open Arms, the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation's Breast Cancer Outreach Fund. Evergreen Bank Group was not only a proud sponsor along with Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, but was also well represented by a team of runners and walkers, alike. Our very own Dan Inendino took home the honor of finishing in the top 10 out of the 944 finishers! Overall, the bank was very proud to sponsor and participate in such a great event.
